Pakistan Crush UAE in Tri-Series T20I | Ayub & Hasan Star

Impressive Pakistan Tame UAE with Power Show from Ayub, Nawaz and Hasan

Sharjah: In the second T20I of the UAE tri-series, Pakistan showed their batting might and bowling depth, defeating the hosts by 31 runs in a commanding display at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan Set a Strong Base with Aggressive Top Order

Electing to bat first, Pakistan got off to a shaky start, losing Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman early, which had them at 38/2 inside 3 overs. But Saim Ayub steadied the innings with a dynamic 50 off 29 balls, featuring four sixes and seven fours before his dismissal in the 12th over.

Following up, Hasan Nawaz unleashed a breathtaking assault — 56 runs off just 26 deliveries, decorated with six long sixes and two boundaries. This late acceleration pushed the Pakistan total to a formidable 207/4 by the end of 20 overs.

UAE Collapse Under Pressure in Reply

Chasing 208, UAE briefly threatened. Zohaib (13) looked positive before being dismissed by Mohammad Nawaz. Despite a promising stand between Asif Khan (77 off 35) and Dhruv Parashar, both fell in quick succession, triggering a batting collapse.

Pakistan capitalized through Hasan Ali (3 wickets) and a handy spell from Mohammad Nawaz (2 wickets), reducing UAE to 79/4 in 10 overs. The middle order could not recover, and after Asif’s dismissal, the innings petered out. UAE finished at 176/8, falling well short of the target.

Saim Ayub’s composed fifty, Hasan Nawaz’s explosive cameo, and the balanced Pakistan bowling unit underpinned the victory.
